1) North Campus Extension Project

Role: Design Consultant

Project involved:

• Assessing in detail the supply capacity restrictions and future load projections on the campus
• Designing in detail a new MV substation
• Reconfiguring the MV network to allow for proposed future expansion

2) MV Substation Designs, Installation and Commissioning

New Engineering Building (NEB), Human Biology Building (HBB), Science & Research Building (SRB) & Life Course Building (LCB)

Project duration: 1-2 month

Year: 2010–2016

Role: Specialist MV Sub-contractor

Project involved:

• Design and consultation on incorporating new MV substation to existing MV ring circuit with no outage requirement
• Supply, installation and commissioning of transformer, switchgear c/w MV feeder protection relay and DC supply unit
• Consultancy on altering MV network to incorporate new substation; Amtech Discrimination Study carried out
• MV cable terminating and pressure testing
