- Chief Controls Engineer in Calgary, Canada, working on the design, programming, building and testing of a high-voltage ERW welding machine used in the manufacture of steel distribution/transmission columns
- Set up Nahanagan Ltd in June 2000, specialising in Industrial Automation and Process Control
- Continued working with HV welding technology for the next four years, setting up production lines in Canada, USA and France
- Expanded the business in Ireland, supplying automation services to the pharmaceutical, food and concrete industries
- Formed the Nahanagan Ltd Steel Division, which specialises in manufacturing steel products for the construction and agricultural industries.
- Established Nahanagan Electrical Engineering Services with Brendan Geoghegan (2007)
